Thanks for checking out this little experiment. Just a little bit about myself…
My name is Bill, I’m 32 years old, and I live in Dallas. Being born and raised in Philadelphia, I never would have imagined that one day I would have moved to Dallas, let alone like it. That doesn’t mean that I don’t miss my family, friends, and comforts of home, however Dallas really has a bit of everything, and not a lot of things that drove me crazy about Philly. Things like snow and 5 hour rush-hours are luckily things of the past. Yes, you have to deal with the occasional tornado or idiotic Dallas motorist, but all in all it’s been a good change for me. I am sleeping with the enemy, but it is a hell of a lot easier living in Dallas being an Eagles fan than vice versa.
I had a couple of stints in Clemson, South Carolina while attending Clemson University. While I enjoyed all of my years spent in Clemson, it was an area that I never could have settled down in. Even though they have the best barbeque I’ve ever had (Annie’s BBQ on Hwy. 123 in Seneca) and some of the nicest people you could ever want to meet, the Upstate was just too slow for my liking. Besides, they occasionally get snow and ice. Now that I’m getting older and my circulation isn’t quite what it was in my youth, I can’t take getting outside and shoveling and scraping ice and snow away from my car and sidewalk.
As you’ll learn in listening to me ramble every couple of weeks is that I’m pretty laid back when it comes to most things, including this podcast. I’m not a serious film critic nor am I someone with professional production skills, and my reviews generally reflect that. However I hope that from listening you’ll gain a little more insight into the films than just whether or not I liked it or not. I encourage anyone to write in with comments, suggestions, or opinions on the upcoming Eagles or Clemson games.
