Ok, maybe no one was really anticipating my next podcast. After all, I still only have single digit subscribers and I think I know most of them. In this episode, I give long-winded and rambling reviews of seven docs I saw at the recently concluded AFI Dallas International Film Festival. I had the opportunity to see Haze, Prom Night In Mississippi, Kassim : The Dream, Food Inc., Art & Copy, Tyson, and The Dungeon Masters. Find out more about these films and why the hell it has taken me 6 months since doing my last podcast…

Episode 3 – Sequels Are Bad
8 10 2008In this episode, I apologize for not making a podcast earlier than a month ago to my faithful legion of fans. Dani informally introduces herself and let’s everyone know that she’s here too. Then we take a look at the series of films, Cocaine Cowboys, by Billy Corbin. As the title suggests, sequels are bad. I’ll let you figure it out from there. Go Phils!

Episode 2 – Sports!
24 08 2008In this episode, we take a look at two sports films, one about the months leading up to the NFL Draft, with the other examining the Professional Bowling Association.
Two Days In April lets us get up close and personal with 4 college football players getting ready for the event that will forever change their lives, the NFL Draft. Access to things never seen before in preparation for the draft are seen.
A League of Ordinary Gentlemen takes us inside the world of professional bowling, long the whipping boy for jokes about fat guys drinking beer. The film examines the rebilding process the league has gone through in recent years and those bowlers making their living in bowling centers around the country.
Also in this episode there is a preview of a possible theme to come in the near future. There won’t be themes every episode, but I happened to have two sports films that I recently watched, so why not?
